Our Island's ancient cool temperate forests are the inspiration behind the distilling of our distinctive Tasmanian spirit, featuring sassafras. We also continue a 100yr tradition of baking fine sourdough breads on Fridays, (orders by Tuesdays).

The Bakehouse Distillery is located in Dover (across from the fire station) - here you can see the distilling process at work and taste the world’s first sassafrass-inspired spirit - please have a look at their website for more info and opening times for tastings!
